Mentoring^Plus Workshops By Request are available to groups of at least 15 but no more than 40 people at one time. This is a wonderful opportunity to network with other agencies and programs in your area. CARS will assist you throughout the process.

Expectations of Host and CARS

If you are interested in being a host, we ask for your assistance in the following areas:

A host is asked to:

• Provide a suitable site (able to accommodate up to 40 people)

• Market the workshop to the local community using materials CARS will provide

• Designate an onsite contact who will coordinate with CARS and the trainer

• Coordinate onsite logistics of the event

• Provide refreshments for the event

• Provide any necessary audio/visual equipment

• Provide CARS with a clear map for us to distribute with confirmations

CARS will provide:

• A knowledgeable trainer to present a day long workshop on the mentoring topic of your choice 

• Assist in advertisement of workshop by internet and email

• Workshop flyers for you to distribute to local community

• Pre-event registration services and materials

• A Workshop Protocol Worksheet in order to facilitate an organized and successful event for your program.
